Enjoyed the Beautiful weather. We have another busy year ahead so here is some information and dates for you.
COMPANY AUDITIONS Sunday 19th May 10.00am – 1.00pm
We hold company auditions every 12-18 Months, Companies are for children who wish to compete in Dance Festivals and Competitions as part of a team, we also use our Company Students for events we are invited to during the year. The later part of last year we was invited by Britain’s Got Talent to film for there 13th series, so this exciting opportunity was given to our company Students, may I say how proud of them all there teachers were, they worked for the film crew and producers like true professionals. All Company members must Re-Audition, Pupils from Pre-primary classes up can audition. Please read all information posted at Studio before auditioning.
DANCE FESTIVALS & COMPETITIONS
Great work at Platinum Dance Festival everyone.
STARZ UK heats are being held on Saturday 25th May at Civic Hall, Blackshots Ln
Grays RM16 2JU, please make sure you have paid your entry fees and ordered your spectators bands.
ALL ENGLAND Dance Festival 25th May-2nd June.
Our end of year Dance Competition will be held in November 2019
EXAMINATIONS
Well done to all pupils who took exams in March 100% passes with excellent marks. Our Next NATD Exams will be held on Sunday 9th June and Sunday14th July 2019, we will also be holding another session in September date TBA.
SUMMER REVUE
Our Summer Revue will be held at the CLC Wickford on Saturday 6th July. All non- exam classes and Companies will have the opportunity to perform in this Revue. We hold these yearly revues so as the pupils have a chance to perform which they really enjoy and so as parents can see how their daughter /Son is progressing. Please make sure your child has the correct uniform and shoes for their classes as these are often used for the revue. Tickets will be on sale from the studio from 4th June.
WICKFORD CARNIVAL 14th September
It is the Wickford Carnivals 100th Birthday this year, so we will be having a large float. All Talents pupils are invited to take part with us. if you have any ideas for a Theme, or If you can help with decorating the lorry please let us know.
TOWNGATE SHOW 2020
Our Theatre Show will be held on Sunday 22nd March 2020. All classes can take part in our Bi-Annual Show, but if for any reason your child is unable to take part, please let us know by September 2019 when we will be starting rehearsals.
PRIVATE LESSON FEES
From 1st September Private lesson fees will increase to £14.00 per half hour.
NEW TEACHER
We will very soon be welcoming a new Gym Coach Miss Paige Roach to our Friday evening Gymnastic Dance Classes, we hope you will make her very welcome.
