FINAL SHOW INFORMATION
To all parents and pupils
Please take time to read this letter carefully as it contains important information about show day.
First of all from a health and safety point of view can we please ask that you advise us in writing of any allergies your child may have as this information needs to be passed on to chaperones. If your child will require any prescription medicine on the day can we have written instruction of dosage needed. Any medicines should be clearly labelled and handed to Tara Cox at the stage door, this will be passed to one of the head chaperones. Finally if you have recently changed your contact details and not advised us please do so as soon as possible.
Please note that all costume bills and rehearsal fees must be settled this week.
ARRIVAL AT THE THEATRE ON SHOW DAY SUNDAY 28 October 2018
Please bring your children to stage door where they will be checked in and escorted to their dressing rooms. Pupils MUST arrive at the theatre with their make-up done (except lipstick) and their hair ready for their first routine (your class teacher will advise) Please remove all jewellery, nail varnish and tattoos before arriving at the theatre. Arrival times are as follows…………
Singers -Show Stoppers & Solo’s 9.00am
Grade 3 & 4 Ballet 10.00am
All Seniors 10.30am
All teachers/staff and chaperones 10.30am
There will be a chaperone meeting backstage when you arrive.
Grade 1 & 2 11.00am
Junior/Inter & Senior Saturday Starz Street Funk, Contemporary
and Acrobatics classes 11.15am
Preliminary 11.30am
Tumble & Cheer, pre-primary, 11.45am
Saturday Stars 12.00am
Ballet Babes 12.15am
Parents please do not worry about your little ones backstage, we have very experienced chaperones who will take very good care of them, they will have a great time!
PLEASE KEEP TO THE TIMES ABOVE ABOVE AS IT TAKES TIME TO CHECK EVERYONE IN.
WHAT YOUR CHILD NEEDS WITH THEM
Every pupil needs to bring their costumes in plastic suit bags, their make-up, hairbrush, comb, clips, hairspray etc……NAME EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! If you have quick changes those costumes need to be in a separate clear suit bag. Younger children may want to bring a onesie or something comfortable to wear backstage. On show day they will need to bring plenty of water and food with them. When packing food and drink please do not put in yoghurt, chocolate, sticky sweets, chewing gum, fizzy drinks or blackcurrant. (No Nuts or anything containing nuts )
Younger children might like to bring a colouring book and pencils (NO FELT TIPS!!) or book, to keep them occupied whilst waiting to perform.
We recommend that jewellery, mobile phones, hand held games consoles etc…. are not brought backstage. If you do bring any, it is at your own risk as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or breakage.
DURING THE SHOW
PHOTOGRAPHY AND THE USE OF RECORDING DEVICES IS NOT PERMITTED. A PROFESSIONAL DVD WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ORDER AT THE STUDIO AFTER THE SHOW.
Each show last’s for approx. 2 ½ Hours.
First Show starts at 1.00pm Second Show starts at 6.00pm
COLLECTING YOUR CHILD AT THE END OF THE SHOWS At Stage Door.
As we have over 150 pupils to check in and out this process can take a long time so please be patient. YOUR CHILDREN’S SAFETY AND WELL BEING IS ALWAYS OUR
TOP PRIORITY.
