This style of dance allows students to express emotion and story through movement and unrestricted lines. Contemporary dance is versatile and involves floor work, balance, fall and recovery and also allows the student to discover choreography and self-expression. Contemporary is widely used in schools now and is the style used for GCSE and A Level Dance.
